A NOTE BEFORE YOU BOOK

Waiview is a small, family-operated property in Savusavu, Vanua Levu. We take great pride in what we offer, and we are committed to honest communication. The information below outlines the real conditions of our property and location. We ask that you read it in full before confirming your reservation.

WAIVIEW APARTMENTS

ACCESS & MOBILITY

The property is accessible by vehicle. However, the pathway from the main road includes a gentle slope. The walk from the road to the apartments takes approximately 1–2 minutes on foot. Guests with mobility challenges, or those travelling with heavy luggage, are advised to arrive by vehicle where possible.

WIFI & CONNECTIVITY

Wi-Fi is not available at Waiview Apartments.

Guests who require internet access are encouraged to arrange a local SIM card with data upon arrival in Fiji. These are widely available and affordable. We are happy to advise on the best options if needed.

LAUNDRY

A washing machine is not available at the apartments. An outdoor sink is provided for hand washing.

A laundry service is available at a small additional fee, or we can direct you to a local laundry service in Savusavu town. Please let us know in advance if you would like to arrange this.

NATURAL ENVIRONMENT

Waiview Apartments is surrounded by undeveloped natural land. While we maintain the property to a high standard, the presence of insects — including mosquitoes and other tropical insects — is a natural part of the environment and can occur from time to time, particularly in the evenings. We recommend guests bring insect repellent.

MEALS & CATERING

Breakfast is not included in the nightly rate. The apartments include kitchen facilities so guests may self-cater. Savusavu town, located nearby, offers a range of local restaurants, cafés, and a market.

WAIVIEW OCEAN-FRONT VILLA

ACCESS & MOBILITY

The road leading to the villa is steep. While the route is navigable, guests should be aware of this when driving, particularly if travelling in a standard hire car or arriving in wet conditions.

Parking is available at the bottom of the hill if guests prefer not to drive up. The villa can also be accessed via a staircase from the lower parking area. Guests with mobility challenges, or those travelling with heavy luggage, are advised to arrive by vehicle where possible.

The villa is situated in a natural, coastal environment surrounded by undeveloped land. Despite our best efforts to maintain the property, the presence of insects is a natural occurrence and may happen from time to time.

We recommend bringing insect repellent.

MEALS & CATERING

Breakfast is not included in the villa rate. The villa is equipped with kitchen facilities for self-catering. Savusavu town is a short drive away and offers restaurants, a fresh produce market, and local dining options.

General property notice- all waiview guests

Power Supply
Savusavu, like many parts of rural Fiji, may occasionally experience power outages. These are infrequent but can occur and are beyond our control, as they are managed by the national utility provider. In the event of an outage, we will provide supplementary lighting where possible. We appreciate your understanding and patience.


Weather & Natural Conditions
Waiview is located in a tropical environment. Conditions including heat, humidity, dust, wind, and occasional rain are part of the natural setting. We are unable to control weather or environmental factors. Outdoor spaces — including pools and garden areas — may accumulate natural debris such as dust and leaves, which we address as promptly as possible through regular maintenance.


Boutique, Family-Run Property
Waiview is a small, independently operated, Fijian-owned business. We do not operate as a resort or a large hotel chain. While we maintain our properties with care and genuine hospitality, guests should arrive with expectations appropriate to a boutique, family-run accommodation in a rural coastal setting. We are committed to delivering a high standard of care within that context.
